For more than a century, International Truck and Engine Corporation has delivered superior transportation solutions as a leading producer of medium trucks, school buses, heavy trucks, severe service vehicles, mid-range diesel engines and parts and services sold under the International brand.
International is now providing the opportunity for aspiring technicians to join their dealer network. The International Technician Education Program (ITEP) is a cooperative effort between International and the Custom Training Group, of UTI. Taught at the ITEP Training Centers in Sacramento, CA, Glendale Heights, Illinois and Exton, Pennsylvania, this 14-week training program accepts graduates from approved post-secondary automotive programs who meet stringent entrance requirements.
The curriculum includes hands-on training with International brand diagnostic equipment, electronic systems and engines. ITEP instructors are experts in their fields and teach the latest methods and procedures in International truck technologies. Graduates of ITEP will have earned 44+ factory training credentials, putting them years ahead of other entry level technicians.
The entire tuition for qualified participants will be paid by International® Truck and Engine Corp. and the hiring International dealer, provided the student remains employed at an International dealer for a minimum of one year. (Individual dealers may require longer employment agreements.)
